Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cassie Marriott ("I", "me") handles your personal information when you use cassiemarriott.com or work with me. I take your privacy seriously, particularly because the nature of this work means you may share deeply personal things with me. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What I collect

• Contact details you give me directly, such as your name, email address and timezone, when you email me or book a call.
• Booking information processed by Calendly when you schedule a call through the calendar on this site.
• Payment information processed by Stripe when you purchase a session. I never see or store your card details; Stripe provides me only your name, email and payment confirmation.
• Session information you choose to share with me before, during or after sessions.

This website itself does not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies, and nothing measures what you read or click here. The only thing the site stores in your browser is your light-or-dark theme preference, which stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Two exceptions: the embedded Calendly calendar may set its own cookies (covered by Calendly's privacy policy), and Cloudflare, which hosts this site, may set a security cookie. Neither tracks you for me.

If I ever add analytics or advertising tools, this policy will be updated first.

How I use it

• To run discovery calls and sessions, and to send you what's included with them (such as your personalised hypnosis track).
• To respond when you contact me.
• To send you the free resource if you've asked for it. I don't run marketing lists and won't add you to one.

What I never do

• I never sell, rent or trade your information.
• I never share what you tell me in sessions with anyone, except where the law requires it (for example, a serious risk of harm to you or someone else) or you ask me to.
• I never publish client stories or testimonials without explicit written permission.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of services to function: Calendly (scheduling), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting). Each processes only what it needs for its job and has its own privacy policy. Fonts are served from this website itself, not from a third party. Video sessions are held on the platform we agree to at booking.

Storage and security

Your information is stored in my email and in the systems named above, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. Session notes, where I keep them, are minimal and stored securely. I keep information only as long as needed to work with you and to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it (subject to any legal retention obligations). Email [email protected] and I'll respond personally, normally within a few days.

Complaints

If you believe I've mishandled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date.
