The idea at the centre of this work
Most of what runs your life doesn't run through your conscious mind. The habits you can't shake, the anxiety that arrives without a reason, the way you speak to your body: these are patterns, and patterns have origins. Usually they were written early, in moments your conscious mind has filed away or deleted entirely, when a younger you drew a conclusion about safety, worth or love.
That conclusion became subconscious programming. It runs quietly, underneath willpower and underneath insight. It's why you can understand your pattern perfectly, explain it beautifully in talk therapy, and still find yourself repeating it. Understanding lives in the conscious mind. The program doesn't.
Emotional Healing Hypnosis works where the program lives. In deep relaxation, with your awareness present the whole time, we follow the feeling back to the memories where it began. Not to relive them, but to see them clearly with adult eyes, release the emotional charge they've been holding, and let the old conclusion be rewritten.
Why the sessions are three hours
Most hypnotherapy sessions run under an hour, which often means arriving, relaxing, and stopping just as the deeper material becomes available. A deep session of around three hours gives us room to do the whole arc in one sitting: a real conversation about what you're carrying, a gentle descent into deep relaxation, the work at the root itself, and time to integrate before you open your eyes.
Nothing is rushed. You never leave mid-process.
What a session actually looks like
- We talk. The first stretch is a grounded, honest conversation. What you're carrying, where it shows up, what you want instead.
- You settle. I guide you into deep relaxation. It feels like the edge of a daydream: heavy, calm, aware. You can speak, you can move, you can stop at any time.
- We follow the feeling. Rather than hunting for memories, we let the feeling itself lead us to where it started. People are often surprised by what surfaces, and by how much sense it makes.
- We work at the root. With the memory in view, we release the emotional charge and give the younger you what was needed back then. This is the heart of the method.
- We anchor and return. New understandings are anchored in before you come back fully. We close by talking through what happened.
Afterwards, you receive a personalised meditation and hypnosis track recorded for you, to listen to for 30 days. The repetition helps the new programming settle in. About two weeks later, we have the option of a 20-minute integration call.
Will I be in control?
Yes, the entire time. Hypnosis is not sleep and it is not surrender. It's a natural state of focused relaxation you already visit every day, when you're absorbed in a film or driving a familiar road. You remain aware, you can speak, and nothing happens without your consent. If you can daydream, you can do this work.
Does it work online?
Yes, and for many people it works better. Hypnosis depends on your focus and your inner experience, not on physical presence. At home you're already somewhere safe and familiar, there's no travel on either side of a deep session, and you can rest as soon as we finish. All you need is a quiet room, headphones and a stable connection.
What this work is not
Emotional Healing Hypnosis is not a medical treatment, and I will never present it as one. I don't diagnose, and I make no promises about symptoms, because you deserve honesty more than you deserve a sales pitch. What I can tell you is what the work is: a serious, structured way to reach the emotional roots beneath your patterns, done alongside (never instead of) the care of your doctor.
Is it right for you?
That's what the free discovery call is for. Twenty minutes, no pressure, no scripts. You tell me what you're carrying, I answer everything honestly, and if I don't believe this is the right work for you, I'll say so.
